James' s Birthday Dinner

At the end of July was James' s birthday and for dinner we went out to Hog's Breath Rockingham where we booked at a table for 7.30pm however had to wait in the bar until almost 9pm when we finally got seated. Whilst waiting we ordered a few cocktails at the bar (my favourite was the Long Island Iced Tea) and for all the patrons waiting in the bar some free/complimentary nibbles were brought out to us which helped keep us content until seated.

Our meals were served suprisingly really quickly considering how busy it was and the food was absolutely delicious and huge portions!

I ordered the Barra and Prawns and changed my chips to a salad (I'm not the biggest fan of chips and find I never eat them when I get meals from restaurants as I find them way to filling and bloat me). The piece of fish was huge! As you can see it took up half of my plate and it tasted absolutely fantastic! And the dressing on that salad was just Yum! Totally worth the wait and money!

James ordered the BBQ Ribs and Steak, I ate a piece of the steak and it was cooked to purrrrfection well done Hog's Breath! Even James struggled to get through this meal and he said by far this is his favourite from Hog's Breath!

The waiters were fantastic to us, especially Ashton. They gave him pictures to colour in which kept him entertained whilst he waited for his drink and meal in which didn't take long at all to get to the table. He ordered the Cheeseburger with Curly Fries Kids Meal which came with soft drink. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal and loved colouring in the pictures.

And of course to top the night off I suprised James with a delicious Mud Cake from Cake-O-Licious Port Kennedy in which the waiters brought out singing Happy Birthday to James which was a real treat to watch and join in.

All in all James had a great night which was the main thing. Hog's Breath although you were super busy and we did have to wait almost an hour and a half for our table you did very well to keep us happy whilst we waited and made the dining experience worth the wait. And Cake-O-Licious what a delicious moist chocolate cake this was, not too sweet and an absolute delight to eat!

I highly recommend for anyone to try out both places.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES!!!!
