Truffle Festival Fremantle

So catching up on what we have been up to since coming to Perth, a few weekends ago we decided to go to Fremantle for the Truffle Festival at the Fremantle Markets. I had always wanted to try Truffle so was super excited about going but it was pouring down with rain on the day so a lot of the stall holders that were supposed to be there were not. But the few that were plus all the other regular stalls and activities made the day super fun still.

What is Truffle? Truffle is a type of fungus that is highly admired in some countries and can be quite expensive to get a hold of - A kitchen's delicacy.

This picture is of the absolutely delicious Truffle and ricotta ravioli with fresh parmesan and truffle shavings that we ate, it was so good! The most yummiest tasting ravioli I have ever had and look how much we got for only $8!  It had a beautiful earthy flavour that added a delectable bite to the cheesy ravioli. If you haven't tried truffle before I highly recommend giving it a go! Both my partner and son loved it also!
